NO JAIL FOR YOUNG SCARBOROUGH MALE

R. v. C. A. | 2000 | O.J. No. 2181

The Crown was seeking a significant period of jail time for client who assaulted another young male with a knife. Ms. Page prepared and provided the Court with materials to show that her client was a reasonable, responsible citizen of good character. The Court was then persuaded to allow the Accused to serve his 45-day sentence in the community, rather than jail, allowing him to continue school.
